Don't Forget
"Hey Siri, don't forget the milk"

You'll forget.
It won't.

Don't Forget is a memory for your life admin — passports, cars, birthdays, promises. Run by AI that lives on your iPhone and answers to no one else.

The problem, measured

Your brain deletes on a schedule.

In 1885, Hermann Ebbinghaus sat in a room memorizing nonsense syllables until he could plot exactly how fast humans forget. The answer: brutally fast — most new information is gone within days, and the slide starts within the hour.

The fix he found still holds: a well-timed nudge, right before something falls off the cliff, resets the curve. Each nudge makes the memory stick longer.

Don't Forget is that nudge — for the things whose "exam date" is a passport desk, a service interval, or someone's birthday.

nudge nudge nudge now a day a week a month what you remember unaided memory with Don't Forget
After Ebbinghaus, "Über das Gedächtnis" (1885). Schematic, not to scale — your passport doesn't care either way.

The going rate

Forgetting is expensive.

Receipts from the memory tax everyone quietly pays.

Queueing at the registration office, on deadline day, with everyone else who forgot.

Nobody here was careless. They were busy. That's the whole problem.

The product

It notices what you'd miss.

You don't write reminders. You tell it about your life, and it works out the rest — on the phone, never off it.

  • 01Scan your passport. It reads the expiry on-device and books the renewal six months out — before the six-month rule bites.
  • 02Tell it your car burns petrol. Oil change, registration, insurance review — proposed, dated, one tap to accept.
  • 03Say a birthday once. It comes back every year, a week early, forever.
  • 04Mark it "never let me miss it." Notifications first — then a real alarm that doesn't care about your Focus mode.
  • 05Answer a few honest questions. Smoke? Exercise? It nudges you toward habits that actually move the needle. No lectures.

Say it. Type it. Snap it. It becomes a dated reminder either way.

Private by architecture

Nothing leaves your iPhone.

Most AI assistants upload your life to someone else's computer. This one can't — here is everything our infrastructure knows about you:

Questions

Asked, answered.

Does Don't Forget send my documents or notes to a server?

No. Apple's Foundation Models handle understanding, Apple Speech transcribes, Vision reads documents — all on the device. There's no account, no cloud, no server.

How does the passport expiry reminder work?

Scan the passport with the camera. On-device OCR reads it, the local AI finds the expiry date, and the app schedules a renewal reminder six months early — many countries require six months of remaining validity to let you in.

What does "Hey Siri, don't forget" do?

The app name doubles as the command. Say it, tell Siri what to remember, and the on-device AI parses dates like "next Friday" into a real reminder.

What happens if I ignore a reminder?

Reminders marked "never let me miss it" escalate to a real alarm via Apple's AlarmKit — full-screen and loud, even through Focus modes.

How much does it cost?

The core app is free. Don't Forget Pro (unlimited things, document scanning, alarm escalation) is a weekly or yearly subscription.

Stop renting space in your own head.
