Don't Forget

Privacy Policy

Effective July 11, 2026

The whole policy in one sentence: your data stays on your iPhone — Don't Forget has no account system and no server, and we cannot see your things, reminders, documents, photos, or voice notes.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you put into Don't Forget — people, vehicles, documents and their scans, photos, voice recordings, transcripts, reminders, and your onboarding answers — is stored locally on your device in the app's private storage, protected by your device passcode and iOS security. It is not uploaded, synced, or backed up by us anywhere.

On-device AI

Understanding (summaries, suggestions, date extraction) is performed by Apple's Foundation Models on your device. Speech transcription uses Apple Speech on-device. Document reading uses Apple Vision on-device. None of this content is sent to us or to third parties by the app.

Subscriptions

If you purchase Don't Forget Pro, the payment is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate subscriptions; RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase receipt data — never your reminders, documents, or any content. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Analytics

The app currently ships with no analytics. If we ever add privacy-preserving, aggregate crash or usage metrics, they will never include the content of your things, reminders, or captures, and this policy will be updated first.

Notifications and alarms

Reminders and alarms are scheduled locally through iOS. Notification content is generated on your device and handled by iOS, not by us.

Your data, your exit

Deleting the app deletes your data. There is no copy to request and nothing for us to erase — we never had it.
